Meet the Love of my Life

About 18 months ago we got ourselves a little spoodle (cross between a poodle and a cocker spaniel). We got him in the Winter time and as it can get quite cold up here in the mountains little "Finn" liked to snuggle into the hood of my jacket while I surfed the net.

And when it all got too much he had a little nap there too.

I found these old pics while clearing out my folder today and couldn't resist posting them.

Have a great weekend.

He is adorable!

One of the disadvantages of us downsizing to a townhouse is that we can't have a pet.

Enjoy! I bet he is loved to death by Rhianna!

We upsized from a townhouse NCG and I promised the kids we could have a dog the minute we were back in a house. Finn is the promise, And we all love him to within an inch of his life.

HI Vanessa- I tried to send you an email but it bounced back to me, so here's what it said:

Hi Vanessa-
I just wanted to let you know that I gave you my "favorite blog post of the week" today for your awesome post about chemicals in our cosmetics. It's packed with nuts and bolts information, yet easy to navigate. I'm almost afraid to go through my cabinets because I'm so attached to some products that are probably bad for me and it can be so hard to find a good replacement. Especially when you have EXTREMELY sensitive skin like I do (my husband sometimes calls me "the princess and the pea" - which is an old story book if you don't know the reference).

Thanks!

Thank you so much Angela. Eliminating the chemicals is a work in progress as I bought some "mineral" make up at David Jones that the sales girl assured me was organic but when I got home and researched it on the internet found that it wasn't. Yes, the minerals to make the colour is organic and then they mix it with nasties to sell it. Have to take it back next week. So, I am learning as I go. Thanks for your award. It means a lot that other people read my ramblings.
